Kendall Carter

Lead Pastor

Kendall was born and raised in Oklahoma. He moved to California in 2011 when the United States Air Force decided where his next duty station would be. Kendall is a graduate of William Jessup University, where he majored in Business and minored in Bible and Theology. He graduated in 2022 from Western Seminary with an M.Div.

He was blessed by our Lord to have married his wonderful bride, Danie, in 2016. God gave them two boys, Emmitt and Ezra, who keep them on their feet. Kendall likes to laugh and may sneak a Bible joke in here and there (most of the time, they are not that funny, but he laughs anyway). Kendall enjoys drinking coffee, playing with his kids, being outdoors, and trying new hobbies.

He is a bit of a Bible nerd, a proponent of the five solas of the Reformation, and a learner of church history. He believes that authentic leadership is following and bowing before King Jesus. Kendall has served in Napa at Creekside Community Church since January 2023.

"Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?”" – Matthew 16:24-26, ESV

Mark Seelye

Director of Musical Worship

Mark was born and raised here in Napa, and as a "church kid" began his relationship with our Lord as a child at home and in Sunday School. Always interested in music, he began playing drums and guitar in youth groups as a teen. As a Cub Scout his den visited a local nursing home, interacting with the residents and passing out checkers games. This planted a seed of ministering in care homes with music which began as a teen and continues today.

Mark and his wife Valeriehave been married 41 years with two adult children and an eight year old grandson.
