Among the many amazing things that make up Christmas is the fact "The ones who disappoint you, need you the most".
These words could easily be hanging on a wall in heaven. So true and humbling is the fact that Jesus came to earth for those who needed Him most. Those who would respond not just to the baby of Christmas, but also to the Savior of Easter. But there would be no Resurrection, if not for the arrival of Immanuel - God in the Flesh - a baby in a manger.
As we celebrate the Christmas season and all that it means, let's not forget the truth that through the sin of Adam and Eve, we as the creation diappointed the Creator, but He knew that what we needed most was the "Word becoming Flesh" to erase the diappointment and destruction of sin and extend the grace of life that overcomes disappointment and death.
