2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NIV)
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
In a world that seems to be falling apart at the seams, the apostle Paul encourages us to not lose heart because all that we see is temporal and shifting.
There are problems and issues that are real, but they have a "shelf-life". The prescription for the these worldly ailments is to be renewed day by day. This renewal is a gift from our Savior and Lord
We need to refocus our attention and perspective on the eternal. Although living with the eternity in sight doesn't give us the right to ignore reality, but it does give us the proper set of lenses to interpret reality.
This renewing and refocusing is more than a "positive attitude" which is sometimes no more than a psychological shell game, but it is re-calibrating our perspective.
Challenges are a part of life, choosing to deal with them from a Godly perspective is a challenge. It requires a conscience effort to give it over to the One who is built to handle it.
The question that each us needs to ask is, "Does our way of dealing with challenges really work?" You know the old saying, "if you keep on doing what you have always done; you will keep on getting what you have always got."
May the Lord bless and keep you and your family this day! See each of you soon.
