Reach out to Kendall

Hi! My name is Kendall. I get to serve as a pastor at Creekside. I have been here since 2023. The Lord has blessed me beyond belief. He gave me a smart, loving, kind, and beautiful wife in 2016, Danie. He's also given us two boys. Boy, do they keep us on our feet? I  enjoy family time, adventures, and exercise. I tend to try more hobbies than I stick with.

The Lord saved me early on. At 20, I set out to serve in the Air Force. After six years, one deployment, and an A.A. from the Community College of the Air Force, I left to pursue training for the ministry. I graduated from William Jessup University with a B.S. in Business and minored in Bible and Theology. From there, I went to Western Seminary and graduated with a Master of Divinity in 2022.

I hold a firm conviction in the goodness of God, the centrality of the gospel, the power of expository preaching, the work of the Holy Spirit through the authoritative and inerrant Scripture, and that Christ is still at work in the world through his global church. I am a big fan of Reformed theology. The Christian life is a journey; we are all in different places. I believe the gospel of Jesus transforms people into new creations who grow in love for our Lord more and flourish in Christlikeness. - 2 Corinthians 3:18

Worship Director

Mark was born and raised here in Napa, and as a "church kid," began his relationship with our Lord as a child at home and in Sunday School. Always interested in music, he began playing drums and guitar in youth groups as a teen. As a Cub Scout his den visited a local nursing home, interacting with the residents and passing out checkers games. This planted a seed of ministering in care homes with music which began as a teen and continues today.

Mark and his wife Valerie have been married for over 45 years with two adult children and a grandson.

"Praying that you may be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.... pleasing the Lord and being fruitful in every good work...."
